Each day is a blessing
Wednesday, March 22, 2006Eventhough i clutch my blanket & growl when the alarm rings,
Thank you Lord that i can hear,
There are many who are deaf.
Eventhough i keep my eyes closed against the mornight light as long as possible,
Thank you Lord that i can see,
There are many who are blind.
Eventhough i huddle in my bed & put off rising,
Thank you Lord that i have strength to rise,
There are many who are bedridden.
Eventough the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, the toast is burned & tempers are short,
Thank you Lord for my family & love ones,
There are many who are lone.
Eventhough i grumble from day to day & wish my circumstances were better,
Thank you Lord for this gift of life & for giving me another chance to live it.
