good read! a different concept of heaven.. i dint get bored unlike the on was reading before that.. “rose” of martin cruz smith was freakin boring! this book, however is short, direct and novel in its concept of heaven. some parts were a tear jerker but hey, thats a trademark of mitch albom it shows u life’s reality and touches u with its simplicity

Sam’s Letters to Jennifer is a novel about that kind of drama. In it, a woman is summoned back to the town where she grew up. And in the house where she spent her most magical years she finds a series of letters addressed to her. Each of those letters is a piece of a story that will upend completely the world she thought she knew - and throw her into a love more powerful than she ever imagined could be possible. Two extraordinary love stories are entwined here, full of hope and pain and emotions that never die down.

Is "Sam's letter to jennifer" a good read?
Posted by nadine at February 3, 2006, 9:58 amhey ade: am not really sure coz i havent read the book yet.. but you know how muvees are.. theyre always changed for the sake of scenematic purposes.. my guy friend told me that fer the harry potter series, the book is more grand than the movie..but nywayz.. tell me bout the movie when u see it ha??
hey nadine: if youve read her other book "suzanne's diary for nicholas," its basically the same mushyness.. he was attempting to create a twist but he compromised his characters.. whered you see a couple who dint love each other and yet stayed together fer 50 years? duh. thats too much torture.. i dunno.. thats juz my POV.

i've read the reviews for "geisha", and they say it was bad… they say the movie didn't do justice to the book.
